2011 Spokane Regional

Both UW teams qualified for the Opening Round Championship series in
Waukegan, Illinois with an impressive showing at the Pacific Northwest
Regional. Team 1277 qualified with a 7-1 record, continuing its streak
of Nationals bids since the program’s inception. Team 1278, comprising
primarily underclassmen and mock trial newcomers, took 6 ballots to make
the UW one of two universities to earn multiple National bids from
Spokane.
In addition to their impressive team finishes, the UW students won 6 individual awards, the most out of any other program at the tournament. Stephan Yhann and Nick Crown were recognized for their attorney portrayals. A special congratulations to Keena Bean and Russell Pharr for their double awards for their outstanding performances across all four rounds.
