2010 Great Sonoran Showdown
Tucson, Arizona • November 2010
After a mere 4 weeks of preparation, Team 1277 traveled to Tucson,
Arizona to compete at the University of Arizona's Great Sonoran
Showdown. UW competed against some of the top west coast programs in its
four rounds against Claremont A, UC Irvine, Claremont B, and Fresno
State.
The six Washington competitors walked away with a 7-1 record, tying with first place Air Force. This is hopefully one of a series of strong performances in the upcoming season that will propel the Huskies to their first ever National Championship Tournament appearance.
