29th National Championship Tournament
Washington, D.C. • April 2013
For the second time in the past three seasons, the University of Washington joined the best-of-the-best at the National Championship Tournament! The Huskies opened the weekend with a close round against Yale University and a tough result against Washington University at St. Louis. But, the Dawgs were resillient and turned it around starting with a strong round against Tufts University and an even better one against Loyola Chicago to close out the season. In the end, Team 1237 earned an Honorable Mention finish with a 6-6 record. On top of that, the Huskies were recognized for their sportsmanship throughout the weekend as they finished as runner-up for the Spirit of AMTA award!
The National Championship marked the end of the best competition season UW has had to date. And, the future looks bright! With only two members graduating, the Huskies are looking forward to next year's case and to keep the tradition going as the best in the Northwest!
