2014 Lee Allen Memorial Invitational

With nasty weather looming on the Seattle weekend forecast, UW escaped to California to compete at the Lee Allen Memorial Invitational hosted by the University of California, Berkeley. The Huskies started the tournament by splitting rounds with UC Santa Barbara and UC Irvine B. After losing both ballots to UC Berkeley in a tough third round, the Huskies came back strong by winning both ballots against Claremonte McKenna in the final round. The team finished out the tournament with a 4-4 record.
Half of Team 1270 is new to college mock trial this year! The program is very proud of its new members Lucas Heflin and Austin Bisharat for winning Outstanding Attorney Awards at this competitive invitational. The program would also like to give a huge thank you to the Bisharat Family for opening up their home to the team for the weekend of the tournament! Their generosity helped make this competition possible for UW Mock Trial.
