2014 UCLASSIC

UW Team 1269 was happy to head to sunny California and escape the Seattle downpour this past weekend for the U Classic Invitational, hosted by the University of California, Los Angeles. The UW was very excited to to head to LA for this highly competitive tournament. Unfortunately, the team started off the invitational by losing two ballots to Stanford - each by the slim margin of only one point. After a tough second round against the University of California, San Diego, the team was able to bounce back in the third round against Cal Poly Pomona, taking both ballots. The team ended the tournament with a 3-5 record after splitting the final round with Arizona State University.
At the end of the weekend, the mockers' spirits were low. However, after hitting some great competition, Team 1269 knows what they need to work on for next weekend's tournament. At the end of the week, the team will fly to Nashville for the Commodore Classic, hosted by Vanderbilt!
