2018 David Frohnmayer Invitational

Eugene, Oregon • November 2018

Picture
The first program-wide tournament of the year for UWMT was the David Frohnmayer Invitational hosted by University of Oregon in Eugene. This was the first event in program history where three UW teams competed. And, it was a blast for everyone as each team finished with a winning record and at least one individual award winner!

Between the three teams, UW faced off against six different west-coast programs: Gonzaga, Portland, Oregon, Oregon State, Reed College, and Cal Poly SLO. We will see many of those teams later on in the season at the upcoming Emerald City Open and the Seattle Regional tournaments.

Special shoutout to the three returning members earning individual awards--Savanna Bair, Nina Downey, and Samira Kadar--and the two new members that won awards at their very first competition: Alaka Rao and Kyler Teo!
