Seattle Regional
University of Washington Mock Trial is proud to partner with the American Mock Trial Association to present the Seattle Regional. Each February, programs across the country host a series of Regional tournaments that serve as the first step to crowning the season's national champion. UWMT began hosting the Seattle Regional in 2017.
The tournament will be held on February 23-24, 2019 at the Seattle Municipal Courthouse. Note that the event was previous scheduled for February 9-10, but was postponed due to the snowstorm. A tournament packet will be released in the coming months with all the details that competing teams will need to make their way to Seattle. For now, this page has all of the major tournament details and will be updated as information is finalized. |
Information for Judges
We are seeking local attorneys and judges to volunteer to judge at the Seattle Regional. As a judge, you will evaluate the competitors over the course of a trial and provide both written and verbal feedback on their performances. The experience is fun and rewarding, and it's a great chance to help the next generation of lawyers be the best they can be! Refreshments will be provided before each round.
